This Privacy Policy describes how heyday-studio (“we”, “us”, the “Application”) handles information. heyday-studio uses YouTube API Services.

By using heyday-studio you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google Privacy Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information we access and collect

heyday-studio uses Google OAuth 2.0 with the youtube.upload scope to upload videos to the authenticated user’s own YouTube channel. Through the YouTube API Services it accesses only what is necessary to perform an upload on the authenticated user’s behalf. It does not access, collect, or store information about any other YouTube users, and it does not read, edit, or delete existing content on the account.

To carry out an upload, the Application processes the video file (and any thumbnail image) and the metadata you provide.

How we use, store, and share information

• Video files and metadata you submit are transmitted to YouTube to perform the upload you requested. They are processed transiently and are not stored persistently by the Application.
• The OAuth credential (a refresh token) used to act on the authenticated user’s behalf is stored securely and used solely to authenticate uploads to that user’s channel.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties — except by transmitting your video and its metadata to YouTube / Google in order to carry out the upload.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, advertising, or third-party analytics, and does not collect personal information from visitors.

Revoking access and deleting data

You may revoke the Application’s access to your Google account at any time through the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Because the Application does not retain your uploaded videos, revoking access stops all further use of your data. You may also contact us (below) with any request to delete stored information.
